德国leibniz新材料研究所Cui Jiaxi博士来我院作学术报告

2016年6月23日上午10:00,德国leibniz新材料研究所Cui Jiaxi博士在新葡亰8883ent望江校区化工学院313报告厅做了一场题为 “Localization of liquid droplets in polymer matrices by evaporative lithography”的精彩学术报告。会议由化工学院院长褚良银教授主持。来自新葡亰8883ent化工学院以及相关学院的教师和同学共同参加了此次报告会。

Cui Jiaxi博士首先简要介绍了德国leibniz新材料研究所的基本情况,之后详细介绍了具有“自修复”、“自报警”、“自发汗”功能的新型高分子材料,通过高分子氢键作用构筑自愈合的凝胶材料,在将硅油引入到高分子凝胶网络中。由于最低表面能的作用,凝胶网络中的硅油会自发汗式迁移至凝胶表面,随着凝胶网络中硅油的不断减少,凝胶材料变得十分透明,达到了自报警的目的,崔博士认为该材料可以形成多功能的润滑表面。在提问环节,Cui Jiaxi博士与各位师生就创新与科研等方面进行了深入的交流与讨论,分享了该工作从开展到最后发表在Nature Materials和Angewandte Chemie International Edition的历程。Cui Jiaxi博士以自身的经历鼓励同学们要敢于拓宽研究方向,做交叉学科的创新,不畏艰难,迎难而上。最后大家以热烈掌声感谢Cui Jiaxi博士的精彩演讲。

附:Cui Jiaxi博士简介:

Dr. Cui Jiaxi received his Ph.D. in Polymer Physics and Chemistry from Peking University in 2008. After two-year postdoc research in the same group, he joined del Campo’s group at Max Planck Institute for Polymer Research (Mainz) in 2010. He joined Joanna Aizenberg's group in December 2012. Now he is a leader of junior research group of Switchable Microfluidic in INM-Leibniz Institute for New Materials, Saarbrücken, Germany. His researches are focused on the fabrication of microfluidic devices by smart materials, developing novel bio-inspired materials by combining dynamic polymer materials and bio-inspired strategies, and switchable surface with dynamic polymer materials.

He have published 44 peer-reviewed journal publications including Nat. Mater., Adv. Mater., Angew. Chem. Int. Ed., J. Am. Chem. Soc.
